Lititz Events in 2007Are you thinking about visiting Lititz but don't know when yet? Here are some of the Lititz events that will be taking place throughout 2007. The dates, times, and admission prices are accurate as of the time of this posting. However, it is possible that changes may occur as the year progresses. Therefore, please check back periodically to see if there have been any updates. We will plan to list more events as information becomes available. If you would like to see what special events are taking place in some of the other towns of Lancaster County, please click on the link for each month. February Fire & Ice Festival - At the annual Fire & Ice Festival in Lititz, the “ice” is in ice sculptures in downtown Lititz, and the “fire” is in a chili cook-off on Saturday. Your entire family will also enjoy a Friday night block party, on-site ice carvings, an art show and auction, fire eating, magicians, jugglers, clowns, an igloo/fort contest and more. There will be activities for the whole family on all four days.
May Lititz Spring Antique Show and Sale - Unique antique collectibles will be on display at this special event.
14th Annual Friendship Community Festival & Auction - During th the weekend there will lots of auctions including specialty auctions devoted to quilts, lawn & garden items, and collectibles. Items include handcrafted wooden toys and paintings by local artists. There will be plenty of food including a chicken barbecue on Friday, a special pancake breakfast Saturday morning and a 12-station food court offering plenty of homemade goodies. Fun family activities include a miniature horses and pygmy goats petting area, games, and hot air ball0on rides.
June Lovin' Lititz Every Second - Enjoy an evening perfect for families, featuring art, history, shopping, fellowship and music throughout Lititz. Discover this historic town known for chocolate, historical buildings and great art. Musicians will perform, artists will exhibit works along the sidewalks and merchants will open their doors to visitors.
14th Annual Lititz' AMBUCS' Crafts-In-The-Park - Sponsored by the Lititz Chapter of AMBUCS, promoting the creation of mobility and independence for people with disabilities. This terrific day-long event showcases hand-crafted items, fine art, photography and so much more. Held rain or shine in the beautiful, historic Lititz Springs Park.
Lititz Historical Foundation's Annual Antique Show & Bake Sale - Over 50 top quality antique dealers will showcase and sell their prize pieces. There will also be a bake sale offering good old-fashioned Lancaster County baking.
