Lancaster City
A Lancaster Christmas - Discover how Christmas traditions have evolved over time. Historically-recreated settings depict the many changing ways that Christmas has been celebrated for each decade from 1850 through 1960. There will also be a special tribute to F. W. Countdown Lancaster - Come celebrate New Year’s Eve in the good old-fashioned Lancaster County way. There'll be loads of family-oriented entertainment featuring over 100 performers. Strasburg
Day Out With Thomas - Join Thomas the Tank Engine, a full-sized, operating steam locomotive, as he chugs into town with his friends. Ride a train pulled by Thomas and meet Sir Topham Hatt. Polar Express Parties - Your child will be greeted by a costumed conductor and enjoy an enthusiastic reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s new classic holiday story “The Polar Express” in the Museum’s 1907 Pennsylvania Railroad P70 coach No. 1006. Following the reading, your child will make his or her own take-home craft in Jack Frost Station and receive a bag of goodies. Santa's Paradise Express - Recapture the magic of the holiday season. Potbelly stoves gently warm the passenger cars as you travel with Santa. Sing Christmas carols along with musicians as they stroll from car to car.
